How to list installed packages in Linux
List installed packages on RHEL/Oracle Linux with dnf and rpm, and on Debian/Ubuntu with apt and dpkg.
See what software is installed. Use dnf/rpm on RHEL-family systems and apt/dpkg on Debian-family systems.
# RHEL / Oracle Linux
dnf list installed
rpm -qa | sort
# Debian / Ubuntu
apt list --installed
dpkg -l
# Is one specific package installed?
rpm -q httpd # RHEL/OL
