V$MANAGED_STANDBY is the go-to view for Data Guard health. Shows every managed process (MRP0 = redo apply, RFS = redo receive, LNS = log network sender, ARCH = archiver) with its status, thread, sequence, and where it is inside the current log. The third query drills into block-level progress when apply looks stuck.
