How to check the archive log gap on an Oracle Data Guard standby

V$ARCHIVE_GAP reports missing archivelog sequences on the standby. Empty result = no gap; any row means FAL cannot advance past this range and you may need to manually register or copy the missing archivelogs from the primary.
